As Jazz lovers, we have developed an extensive range of jazz covers, from some of the timeless romantic standards we all know and love, to classy show-stopping swing numbers, and fast, fun bossa novas and sambas - ideal for livening up any party or celebration!
We are a Brisbane/Sunshine Coast based duo and enjoy traveling the South East and performing in the variety of localities and venues it provides.

Lara-Jane 'the voice' Thompson and Chris 'strings-of-honey' Anderson met and began working together in mid-2007. Both looking for someone new to perform with and brimming with creative energy, we each were delighted to have suddenly turned up in one another's social spheres!
We quickly set to work: with jazz as our starting point, we sifted through our various musical tastes, from covers to originals and back again, blues to soul, folk to pop, and beyond, but before long we returned to our common ground of jazz and Cruise Medium was born!
We have since worked tirelessly at putting together a most sumptuous and exciting repertoire of some of the very best jazz tunes we could find for the pleasure of our various audiences and ourselves along the way!
